west coast best coast, baby!

first of all, I graduated from Hallmark last Saturday, and what an event that was. after partying it up and packing my life away once more, i said some difficult goodbyes, got in my car Troy, and started heading west.

MA, CT, NY, PA, OH, IN, IL, WI, MN, SD, WY, MT, ID...

after three 14 hour drives and one six hour drive, i finally made it back to WASHINGTON, where my new Canon 5D mark II was waiting for me. (yessssss!) so even though my current address is still my blue Subaru Impreza (848-XTW), things are looking up. i ordered a computer (thanks, mom), got a business license, sent out and posted promo pieces, passed out a bunch of business cards, bought some magazines, and now have a few clients under my belt for the summer. today i am off to the best city on earth- Seattle, for some adventures. once i get my new macbook pro, you bet you'll see some photos asap. here's to real life, yeah?!

i miss all you east coasters. good luck in whatever you are doing my friends.

Shawnaaaaay!

shaunae, charitow, and i decided to take a much needed trip to northampton. naturally, we went to starbucks first, and in a side alley we found this excellent yellow door. so i photographed shaunae.

whilst wandering about noho, i also added a few photos to my personal project of photos of myself in reflective surfaces. this was inside faces:portfolio reviews are over and done with, and since we can check out equipment once more i hope to get out and shoot some portraits this week.

Charitow is moving to Brooklyn..

... so this weekend we took a little road trip. it was a beautiful day.

we walked for hours. fortunately, it was sunny.

Charity was a little afraid of the big city.

But naturally, I protected her.(roommate)

(duh)

This woman was waiting to go to brunch.

And we also met Kristen, Charity's roommate-to-be. A pretty strange coincidence if you ask me..

All in all, a great trip.
